Title: Man Hunt (1936)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Marguerite Churchill

Description: Schoolteacher Jane Carpenter (Marguerite Churchill) is bored in her small town and regales her students with tales of the Daltons and Clantons. When a big-time local bank robber escapes from prison, she aids him. But her romantic ideals are soon crushed when the robber and his gang want to pull another heist. So, they need to keep the brunette out of the way.

Near the end, she is shown seated in a chair. Her hands are tied behind her back and the gangster is in the process of tying her ankles together. Right as he takes out a white hankie and begins to gag her, the camera cuts to the hero outside. He then sees as the bad guy cradle carries a cleave-gagged Jane off to the side of the hideout and puts her in the bushes. When the captor leaves, the hero moves in and we get a good shot of a fairly tight (especially for 1936) cleave gag. The hero ungags her. Then, after a cut away, we see the hero untying her legs, which she rubs for effect afterward.
