The bad guys grab Lois because she's found the key to a post office box hidden in a cheap statuette. It turns out that the box has a parcel containing a stolen gem in it. Lois, attired in a suit dress is led, hands bound behind and OTM gagged , down some steps to a waiting car. She is put into the back seat as seen through the open window. A cop, seeing the baddies having car trouble, stops to ask if they need any assistance, oblivious to the fact that Lois lies hidden on the floor. She'd been ordered to lie there as the patrol car approached, and was pulled up at the end. Arriving at the airport, she is pulled from the car, then hustled into a plane to be transported to the crooks' mountain hideout
