A posse led by Newly O'Brein (Buck Taylor) and Drago (Buddy Ebsen) pick off an outlaw gang's members one by one. They finally run Hannon (Ben Johnson), the leader of the gang, to earth at a homesteading couple's covered wagon.
At the 35 minute mark (with commercials), we see a quick shot of the man and woman in the wagon held prisoner. The man is cleave-gagged and the woman is detective gagged with a red cloth (over the bonnet!). Both have their hands in front. Hannon drags the woman to the front of the wagon, threatening to shoot her if the posse doesn't back off, but Newly sneaks behind and gets the drop on the owlhoot, thereby rescuing the couple. The entire sequence lasts about a minute fifteen seconds.
The two quick scenes last about four or five seconds each, but both include close-ups of the gagged woman's face. Her bonds are pretty ineffective - they consist of her wrists tied individually with about a foot of rope between them.
